A small wooden box with holes on top and bottom having a glass sheet covering the entire inside is introduced.
A solid steel ball is also introduced. It is shown that the ball has no way to pass through the holes due to the existence of the glass sheet. After removal of the glass sheet, it is also shown that the steel ball can easily pass through the
holes of the box. Finally the glass sheet is replaced in to the box and the lid is closed. The performer now places the ball into the top hole of the box. The solid steel ball passes right through the piece of glass sheet, comes out through the bottom hole and drops on the palm of the spectator.
