The Classic Block Cord effect has been taken to a whole new level.
Effect
Using a polished four-inch (10 X 10 cm) solid block of Acrylic, you thread a nylon cord through the center of the block not once but twice.
The cord is held up, showing that the block is suspended half way down its length. While holding the block in the other hand and using a slight flick of the wrist, the cord penetrates through he block, freeing the block from the cord! Included is Mr.Brewe’s instructions explaining his improved handling of this great effect and his routine about Bessie the “Elusive” Cow.
He has been performing for many, many years, and “Bessie” is always the most talked about trick in the show.
